Pastor Ryburn and Miss Sharon came to this church with their 3 boys to help the former pastor in the growth of the church in 2011. After graduating from Midwestern Baptist College in May of 2011, we looked for a ministry in Michigan that summer and then we came to Montrose in September at the invitation of Pastor Childers where the Lord gave us the burden
to come here and leave Michigan. I was saved at the age of 8 at Parkview Baptist Church. I grew up at that church working as the Sunday School secretary, thaen the department head, then had junior church add on, then lead the vacation bible school program for several years. After getting married in 1992, my wife, Miss Sharon, helped with the nursing home ministry that I was running
until it closed down. I became a deacon and also did that work for seven years with my wifes help before God called me to preach. As for Miss Sharon, she was saved at the age of 11 years old at a meeting Dr John Hamon was preaching in southern Indiana. We met at Parkview Baptist Church after she finished going to school at Midwestern.
